The 2013 Relay For Life of Bethel is an overnight, grassroots fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This year's event will take place on Saturday, June 8. Since it's 2013, we'll be sharing 13 reasons why YOU should join us at Relay For Life. Reason #13 is Fun.

As previous Reasons to Relay have shown, Relay For Life is an inspirational, community-driven event that's supporting a great organization that's doing some pretty important (and impressive!) work.
You know what else? It's also a whole lot of fun!
Entertainment? The main stage will feature plenty of that, including live music, Irish Step Dancing, Zumba, and Sh'bam. For those staying overnight, be sure to stop by for Relay races, a spelling bee, crazy charades and movie trivia, all taking place after midnight.
Fun and games? The Pro Access tent will have a pinata -- you never know what might fall out! The MOMS Club of Bethel will be holding a birthday cake decorating contest -- stop by and vote for your favorite.
Hungry? Captains CURE-ageous will keep Relayers fueled with hot dogs, soup, mac and cheese, and much more. Team Walk the Walk will sell make-your-own trail mix to help keep you awake overnight. And M2M Kicks Cancer will be selling "Power of Purple" cookbooks so you can create all of your favorite Relay-themed dishes at home.
Is fashion your thing? Head over to the Atkins Army's site to pick up your Bead-o-Meter, this year's must-have fashion statement (and also a fun way to count your laps). Girl Power will be selling homemade chocolate mustache lollipops, another accessory that will help you stand out from the crowd.
Feeling lucky? Stop by the Johnsonville Jaguars tent for a chance to win an iPad Mini. Team Fortnight will be holding a Pound Auction -- bid on a one-pound bag of... something!
Just wanna hang out? Well, there will be hundreds of people from all around Bethel, Danbury, Redding, and surrounding towns, so come visit old friends or make new ones.
