The latest information on how the snow storm, dubbed Hercules by the National Weather Service, is impacting schools, roads and businesses.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has ordered the partial opening of the State Emergency Operations Center.

Our original report follows:

Bethel schools are on an early dismissal schedule due to the snowstorm.

The storm is expected to dump up to a foot of snow over the next 36-48 hours, according to forecasts.
