Banjo Music and History at Library

The Bethel Public Library is pleased to

offer its
first music program to be held in the all-new Maria Parloa Community Room! Musician,

singer, songwriter David Karraker will take us on a Musical History Tour as he

enlightens us about the banjo—a truly American instrument—and entertains us

with some of the old songs, from “Amazing Grace” to “Foggy Mountain Breakdown.”

We’ll also enjoy some of David’s terrific

original compositions, like “Waiting for a Storm Called Sandy.” We’ll cap off

this fun and music-filled evening with a sing-along!

The program will be enjoyed by adults and

students Grades 6+. Registration is required. Please call 203-794-8756 ext. 4, register

at the website www.bethellibrary.org, or sign up in person at the Library. Sponsored

by the Friends of the Library.
