- Financial adviser Jonathan Dibble will be leading a free workshop for small business owners at Bethel Public Library Monday evening on Lowering Your Tax Bill and Improving Your Interest.

- The Bethel Chamber of Commerce’s Tuesday Coffee Talk will be at Juice Barre this week, starting at 8 a.m.

- Palm reader Sandra Sisti will be teaching a class on the history of palm reading at Bethel IT Services Tuesday night. Sisti will also be going over runes, tarot and handwriting analysis.

- Democratic candidates for the Land Use commissions will be holding a meet-and-greet at campaign headquarters on Greenwood Ave. Wednesday night. Light refreshments will be served.

- Instructor Dave Mirto will be holding the first of a two-part course on public speaking at Bethel IT Services on Wednesday. Check the event listing for information on registering for the interactive seminar.

- Kevin Gardner will be hosting an iPad and iPhone Bootcamp at Bethel IT Services Thursday night.

- Bethel’s Haunted Ghost Tour is Friday night, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the 1842 Second Meeting House. The family-friendly ghost tour is led by local storyteller Marty Bishop. Register by Oct. 24.
