DAWS Pets of the Week: Spaniel-Mix Puppies

DAWS will be holding a puppy open house on Saturday for this litter.

DAWS currently has a litter of puppies in foster care that were born on August 17 and will be available for adoption soon. Accordinf to the shelter, their mom appears to be a spaniel-type mix and weighs about 45 pounds, so the pups will probably be about the size of mom when full-grown. The father’s breed mixture is unknown.

DAWS will host a special puppy open house this Saturday, Oct. 15 from 12-3 p.m. They will show puppies to adopters on a first come first serve basis and will only accept applications that day of the event. You may fill out an application the day of the event or bring one with you pre-filled out to save time.

The shelter asks that all potential adoptees take time to read all of the information on the puppy page on DAWS' website to learn more about the process, requirements and recommendations for puppy adoptions. DAWS stresses that "puppies require a tremendous amount of dedication, time, exercise, socialization and training. Please take this into consideration before applying for a puppy."

Please Note: DAWS' goal is to find the best home match for these puppies. They reserve the right to approve or deny any application we receive according to our adoption policies and practices. The adoption fee for these puppies is $250.
