DAWS Pet of the Week: Shannon
In this weekly feature we will introduce you to one DAWS pet who is in need of a place to call home.
Name: Shannon
Description: Pitbull-mix, 25-50 lbs
Gender: Female
Age Rage: 2-5
Shannon is a 2-year-old Pitbull-mix who, according to DAWS, is a sweet and happy girl who makes everyone around her smile. She is "very playful and loves running around in the yards at DAWS," and would do well with a active family. Shannon already knows basic commands, but could use a little more training. The shelter says she is a quick learner.
You are free to visit Shannon or any other adoptable animals at DAWS during open house hours, Monday through Friday from 6-8 p.m. or on the weekends from 2-4 p.m. The shelter is located at 147 Grassy Plain St. Click here for a map.
