DAWS Pet of the Week: Holstein

In this weekly feature we will introduce you to one DAWS pet who is in need of a place to call home.

Name: Holstein
Description: Black & white, not declawed
Gender: Male
Age Rage: Under 2

Though being sponsored by a local resident, Holstein is a DAWS "cow kitty" that needs a good, permanent home. The shelter says Holstein is loving, friendly and cuddly, but is a little shy.

You are free to visit Holstein or any other adoptable animals at DAWS during open house hours, Monday through Friday from 6-8 p.m. or on the weekends from 2-4 p.m. The shelter is located at 147 Grassy Plain St. Click here for a map.

If you are considering giving Holstein a new home please contact DAWS by clicking here, or by calling 203-744-3297.

"Bethel teachers are not only educating students, but when society lets kids down, it’sRead More teachers who step in to fill the gap." Explain to me how an average salary of $60,000 per year for working 183 days during that year and an EXTREMELY generous retirement package (compared to the 240 a year the rest of us have to work) considered "society letting them down"?
