In this weekly feature we will introduce you to one DAWS pet who is in need of a place to call home.
Name: Butterscotch
Description: Bassett Hound/Dashund-mix
Gender: Male
Age Rage: Under 2
Butterscotch is a 1-year-old Bassett Hound/Daschund mix, who DAWS said is a "very happy and friendly guy who absolutely loves making new friends." He does well with people and other dogs, and is "super sweet and very outgoing." Butterscotch would do well with an active, multi-pet family, with a fenced-in yard as he loves to run and play.
You are free to visit Butterscotch or any other adoptable animals at DAWS during open house hours, Monday through Friday from 6-8 p.m. or on the weekends from 2-4 p.m. The shelter is located at 147 Grassy Plain St. Click here for a map.
