Halloween Fun Around Bethel!

There is no reason to leave Bethel in order to scare up some Halloween Fun!  

The fun starts tonight with the Bethel Historical Society's Haunted Ghost Tour. A family-friendly candlelight ghost tour through the streets of Bethel.  Come hear enchanting and chilling tales of local legends and history.  Meet at the 1842 Second Meeting House located at 40 Main St at 6:30pm.  $10 for members, $12 for non-members, kids under 12 are $6.  

The fun continues on Saturday with the Annual Trick or Treat Street and Halloween Bash.  The free event kicks off with a Magic Show by Danny Diamond at 1pm in the GP Room of the Municipal Center, followed by a Halloween Bash on the lawn of the Municipal Center and Trick or Treating along Greenwood Ave between 1:30 and 3:30.  Come back to the Municipal Center Lawn at 3:30 for the costume contest.  There will be live Music by Crosstown Band, a Zombie Walk, a Monster Mash, a Zombie Combat lesson, and more!  Visit www.bethelchamber.com for the complete schedule of events.  

After the Halloween Bash head on up to the 1st Congregational Church on Main St for a Kid Friendly Haunted House, open between 2:30 and 4:30pm. 

Didn't have enough Halloween Fun on Friday or Saturday?  Come enjoy a delicious breakfast to support the Bethel Ambulance Fund.  The Stony Hill Annual Halloween Breakfast takes place Sunday at the Stony Hill Fire Department between 9am and noon.  Come in costume and win prizes donated by local Bethel and Newtown merchants.  $7.00 per adult, $5.00 per child with a $20 family max.  The breakfast is hosted by the Stony Hill 4 Corners. 

Finish your weekend of Halloween with the Bethel Historical Society's Tricks and Treats from Halloweens Past.  Sunday between 2pm and 4pm come to the 1842 Meeting House located at 40 Main Street and experience games, crafts, tricks & treats from Halloweens of past eras.  $8 for members, $10 for non-members.
