Byrd's Books Moves to Historic Downtown Bethel

Come celebrate the Grand Opening of Byrd’s Books with a weekend of activities.  Please join them at their new location at 126 Greenwood Ave.  They have plenty of parking, and a rear entrance, in the back.

They begin their weekend celebration with an evening of Poetry & Music on Friday October 11th at 7:00 with poets Neil Silberblatt, Susan Tuz, David Leff and music by Don Lowe.

On Saturday October 12th they will have a ribbon cutting at 10am.   In honor of the Ribbon Cutting on Saturday the 12th they will be offering 20% off their Halloween titles on Saturday the 12th.

Saturday afternoon they will also celebrate with Olive Oil of the World. Ersilia Moreno will have her wonderful olive oils to sample and sell, and Byrd’s Books will have a cookbook blowout for two hours only: from 4-6p.m.

On Sunday the 13th puppeteer Anna Vargas will perform “Akimba and the Magic Cow” for two shows: 1 & 3p.m.
