Bishop Caggiano Visits St. Mary School

The Most Reverend Frank J. Caggiano, Bishop of the Bridgeport Diocese, celebrated Ascension Thursday mass with students and parishioners on Thursday, May 29. Bishop Caggiano posed for pictures with the St. Mary School 2nd graders who had recently celebrated their First Communion.

Following mass, Bishop Caggiano, accompanied by Sister Mary Grace Walsh, Superintendant of Bridgeport Diocese Catholic Schools, toured St. Mary School. The Student Theater Group performed a few songs from their recent production of The Wizard of Oz, and then Bishop Caggiano hosted a lively question and answer session with students.

St. Mary School is in the midst of its 50th Anniversary celebration, which concludes this Sunday, June 8, with Mass at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. All are cordially invited to attend.
