Wildcats to Face Undefeated Ansonia Tonight in First Round Playoffs

, 40-21, last week, the Wildcats also won a chance to for the CIAC Class M Championship.

This is the second time Bethel varsity football has reached the playoffs in three years.

Tonight, Bethel, 7-3 (8th seed), will face the undeafeated Ansonia Chargers, 10-0, who are No. 1 in the class.

The Wildcats will be away and the game starts at 6:30 p.m. at Nolan Field at Ansonia High School.

If the Wildcats win, they will either face 4th seed Berlin (9-1) or 5th seed Cheney Tech (9-1) who will also play tonight.
