Updated: Girls Soccer to Play Semi-Final Game at 7:30 p.m. in Meriden Friday

Bethel High's girls soccer team has made it to the CIAC semi-finals.

On Friday Nov. 8, the Bethel High School girls soccer team (11-4-4) will battle it out against Farmington (11-3-3) at Meriden's O.H. Platt High School at 7:30 p.m. for a spot in the CIAC Class L Finals next week.

The team was away Tuesday and defeated 4th seed Joel Barlow, 1-0. Previously, the Wildcats won over 5th seed Gulliford, 2-1, on Saturday, Nov. 12 and 21st seed Wilbur Cross, 3-1 on Thursday, Nov. 10. 

Bethel was in 12th place in Class L at the end of the regular season with a record of 8-4-4. Farmington was in 8th place.

If the team does defeat Farmington, it will either face 2nd seed Avon (14-1-2) or 19th seed RHAM (11-6-2).

O.H. Platt High School is located at 220 Coe Ave. in Meriden, Conn. Directions can be found here. The game will be held on Falcon Field.
