Whiz Kid: Sara Rockmacher
Sara is an eighth grader at Bethel Middle School and was nominated by one of her teachers.
Bethel Middle Schooler Sara Rockmacher, 13, participates in many extra currricular activities such as yearbook, Darfur Club, BMS TV and student government, but singing and acting is her heart and soul.
Recently, she entered into the HUB Channel's Majors and Minors competition, a national talent search. Locally, she has just been awarded the role of Daddy Warbuck's girlfriend, Grace in the musical Annie.
Sara has also been seen in Sabrina’s Encore Productions of "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Beauty and the Beast." She was also in BMS' production of "Grease" as Patty Simcox last November and has performed in various talent shows.
Sara is in her second year of voice and acting lessons at Sabrina’s Encore Productions based in Newtown. In her free time she loves to make music videos with her friends. You can view her music videos along with recordings of her performances on YouTube.

She was thrilled to attend "Wicked" on Broadway as her first show and for her 13th birthday present
Not only is she a great talent, but she is great all around and hopes to continue her pursuits in the musical arena and participate in high school productions in the future.

Sara als hopes to one day attend a school and college for performing arts and continue to be in musical theater. Her big dream is to be in musicals in New York City.
