Bethel Lady Wildcats Get Back To Winning Ways

The Bethel High Girl’s Lacrosse teams traveled to Westhill High School in Stamford and got back on their winning ways with an 11-6 win over the Vikings of Westhill. It was a slow start for the Wildcats who had to regroup after a slim 5-4 lead at halftime but came out in the second half with three unanswered goals and never looked back. Coach Shelly DeSisto was pleased with the performance and was also able to give several freshman significant playing time adding to the depth of the program.

Junior Goalie Christine Graffeo made her first varsity start and split time with Kristina MacNicholl who combined for 10 saves. The Lady Wildcats spread out their scoring with 8 different players notching points. Bethel plays again, at home, this Thursday, April 26 against Fairfield Ludlowe in what will be an exciting rematch of a hard fought Wildcat win on April 9th.
