Today's Lacrosse and Softball Scores

Lookin' good, Lacrosse! Currently undefeated!

Bethel High School’s Boys Lacrosse team is the only undefeated team in the state.

Bethel High School’s Boys Lacrosse team is having a spectacular season. They are currently undefeated, 10-0, the only undefeated team in the state.  Coach Keith Marotta and Coach Mark Doolan have nurtured and developed the BHS  boys lacrosse team  from a program that started in 2007 with a 20 man roster, into a program with over 40 players in 2012. The success of the team is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of its coaches and players. Led by 5 skilled seniors, as well as a talented group of juniors, sophomores and freshmen, the team is having the most successful season in the program’s short history.  Next Thursday night, May 10th at 7 PM, Bethel will host New Fairfield and honor our Senior players. Come out and enjoy some great lacrosse!

"Bethel teachers are not only educating students, but when society lets kids down, it’sRead More teachers who step in to fill the gap." Explain to me how an average salary of $60,000 per year for working 183 days during that year and an EXTREMELY generous retirement package (compared to the 240 a year the rest of us have to work) considered "society letting them down"?
