Online Survey Polls Wants, Needs for New Superintendent of Bethel Schools
Search for next superintendent begins with community input.
The Bethel Board of Education (BOE) began its search last week for a superintendent to replace the outgoing Dr. Kevin Smith, who accepted a position with Wilton Schools beginning at the end of this school year.
As a first step in the process, the BOE hired a recruiting company to search for potential candidates and has set up an online survey for parents and residents to give their input on what they want in the next superintendent.
The survey asks about preferences in experience, achievement, education and ties to Bethel, as well as personality traits.
