Gallery: It's How You Play The Game

Members of the JV Girls Basketball team joined Varsity and played two games in a row on Friday night.  Having only two seniors on the team made for stiff competition from Newtown, which is having an excellent year to boot. 

Bethel's Wildcats played a great defensive game and kept the ball in their court as much as could be expected against a more experienced, and less tired, team.  In the the second half, the team began to creep up on Newtown's scores, finishing the game at 21 points to Newtown's 62.  

It isn't if you win or lose, but how you play the game, and the Wildcats played hard and gave it their all.  They made some stunning plays and have a lot of talent to develop in the coming seasons.
