Transitioning to College Program

The Regional Teen Prevention Council at the Housatonic Valley Coalition Against Substance Abuse is hosting their 2nd Annual Transitioning to College program for high school seniors and their parents.

This program is designed to provide helpful information about concerns associated with substance use, underage drinking and other behaviors that may emerge as young adults move from high school to colleges and university settings.

Internationally recognized speaker, Michael Nerney will discuss substance abuse prevention and education strategies that work for young adults and their parents. He will give everyone an advantage by suggesting skills that can be practiced over the remaining months before young adults head off to freshman year.
