Board of Education Announces New Bethel High School Principal

Christopher Troetti named New Principal of Bethel High School

 

At Thursday night's Bethel's Board of Education meeting, the new administration team for Bethel High School was announced. After 22 candidates applied for the position of high school principal, with eight candidates making it to the first interview, Christopher Troetti was chosen to be Bethel High School's newest principal for the 2012-2013 school year. 

"Mr. Troetti has the recognition to strengthen the team in the high school," said Superintendent Dr. Kevin Smith. The Board of Education approved Smith's nomination to name Troetti as the new leader of Bethel High School. Troetti had been a student and teacher in the high school.

Also in the administration staff, Gary Lawlor was elected Associate Principal by the Board of Education at the meeting. Brian Watson will be the school's Assistant Principal.

"I am honored to be here for my staff, and to have such amazing staff," said Christopher Troetti, and added, "It's all about how you help your students improve."
