The DECA competitive events serve “to contribute to the development of the skills needed to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.” The competitive events allow students to apply the skills they have learned in their marketing and general business classes in real world role-play scenarios judges by professionals in industry.
