[Update] Bethel Schools Closed Monday, Other Offices Closed for Presidents Day

Bethel Schools have updated its status to closed on Monday. Dr. Janice Jordan, associate superintendent, said the timing of the storm was the main reason for the change.

"At 7 a.m., it was clear the snow was causing poor road conditions and the snow is not expected to abate for 3 more hours," Jordan said. "I felt it was too dangerous for school busses."

On Monday, Feb. 21, Bethel Schools will have a two hour delay due to the weather. More information about delayed school times and bus routes is available on the Bethel Public Schools website. 

The Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Building, post offices and the Bethel Public Library are already closed due to Presidents Day.
