Bethel High Sends Teams to States

BHS has teams and individuals heading into State games, Josh Barrera sets State record and takes Gold in 200 m.

Boys Tennis : AJ Barnes and Eric Bott 

Softball heads to Semifinals after defeating Watertown in Quarterfinals yesterday 

at Kasack Field 4-0. They face Maloney High in Meriden

 

At the Class MM State Meet Championship, the Bethel Boys Team finished 4th out of 33 teams!!! 

 Coach Grimes said, "This was the highest finish at the state meet in my 17 years of coaching at Bethel.  I am so proud the team and their performances today!"  Here are some very special highlights...Josh Barrera took Silver in the 100M (10.99)* and Gold in the 200M (22.36)*!!! (ALL STATE!!!!)  

Trevor Ochs won 3 medals!!! 

Second in the Discus (137-11)*, 6th in the Shot (44-11)* and 3rd in the Javelin(162-10)!

Matt Kelly vaulted to a 6th Place Medal in the high jump with a PR 5-10!! 

Other points from Austin Allaby 7th in Javelin(152-10) and Jon Matthews 8th in High Jump (5-8)!* denote Personal Record
