Anonymous Students Post Positive Notes Around Bethel Middle School

Notes told students and staff "You matter" and other bright messages.

Students and staff at Bethel Middle School arrived to a positively colorful campus Tuesday morning.

A group of students who would like to remain anonymous put sticky notes on every locker, door and office in the high school’s halls, offering encouraging messages such as “You are awesome,” “You are lovable” and “You matter.”

Derek Muharem said in an email that he’s proud to be the principal of Bethel Middle School, where kind gestures like this one “add smiles to our students and our entire faculty.”
