For these reasons, the Relay For Life of Bethel will be painting the town purple on Saturday, May 4th.  Relay volunteers will be wearing purple and setting up booths around town to encourage community members to form teams for the American Cancer Society's actual Relay For Life event, to take place on June 8th.

Additionally, businesses and residents can show their support in the fight against cancer by wearing purple or placing a purple bow on their property.  Businesses are also asked to make Relay For Life brochures available to their customers.  Relay For Life volunteers will be delivering brochures, ribbons, and stickers to interested businesses on the morning of May 4th.

But wait, there's more!  Look for Relay For Life teams throughout town selling purple cupcakes or painting purple nails.  All proceeds will benefit the work of the American Cancer Society to save lives from cancer by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.

Please help us "Paint the Town Purple" in honor and in memory of all those who have battled cancer.
