Those turkey lefotovers: Idea #1

Yes. You have them. Turkey leftovers, made up of seasoned and perfectly-cooked turkey from Thanksgiving, that are even now residing in your fridge, covered in aluminum foil or some other containment method.

Leftovers. The very word makes some people groan in resignation.

But not us. No! We shall tackle this leftover bird of awesomeness and re-purpose it into something magnificent! Yes! Like....

Turkey Salad!! (applause, applause)

So simple, and an easy way to modify your leftover turkey into a convenient and ready-to-eat new creation. Here we go:

You'll Need

Leftover turkey, stripped from all bones, and rough-chopped into smallish pieces for bite-sized enjoyment, leaving that amazing skin on the turkey if you please

Mayonnaise (homemade if possible), enough to bind this salad together, but don't drown it

Green onion tops, cut into tiny rings
Alternate choice: Parsley, minced finely

Cherry/grape tomatoes, cut into small discs (like a normal-sized tomato cut into discs for a hamburger)

Salt/black pepper, to taste because remember, this is pre-cooked turkey already seasoned from Thanksgiving

Alternate choices: Celery seed/granulated garlic/cumin/dried cilantro/hot curry powder/dried thyme/dried oregano/be creative....

Big bowl for mixing and a spatula to mix with
