Budget Vote is Today; Absentee Ballots are Available

The following information was provided by the Town of Bethel--

BETHEL, CT.--
June 12, 2014

The Town of Bethel's Budget Referendum will be held on June 12th between the hours of 6 a.m and 8 p.m., Absentee Ballots are available in the Town Clerk's office between the weekday hours of 8:30a.m. and 4:30p.m. In order to vote Absentee you need to meet the current criteria which consists of being physically disabled, ill, out of town during all hours of voting, working the polls or religious tenets.

Bethel residents can vote Thursday at their normal voting places on the $26.9 million spending plan for the town operations including school maintenance, road repairs and town salaries for 2014-2015. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
