Pending a Confirmation Letter, Burke Will Be on The Ballot This Fall

Former First Selectman Robert Burke is looking to run again as a Tea Party candidate.

Pending a confirmation letter from Connecticut's Secretary of State's Office, former First Selectman Robert Burke, plus seven other candidates, will officially be on the ballot this Nov. 8 on the Tea Party slate.

Though only 49 signatures were needed, Burke had 65 signatures verified in Bethel's Town Clerk's Office Wednesday.

Once the letter is received, Burke will go up against Democratic incumbent Matthew Knickerbocker and Republican Kevin Cleary.
