Last Downtown Farmers Market of the Season Today

The latest from the downtown farmers market.

Today is the last day of the season for the first downtown farmers market on the municipal center front lawn from 3-6 p.m.

A new vendor will be there, Warrup's Farm from Redding. According to its website, the farm's mission is to "farm responsibly, sell pure, fresh farm products, provide events celebrating the cycle of the New England year, offer opportunities for engagement with the land and inspire people to create a sustainable and vital future. [Their] goals are to enhance the life of the soil, and to plant seeds for spiritual and cultural renewal."
