Bethel VNA to Start Public Flu Vaccine Clinics This Friday

Starting at the end of this week, the Bethel Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) will be holding flu vaccination clinics for the fall.

According to the VNA website, flu shots are $35 for all ages over 6 months and flu mist is $40 and is only available for healthy individuals age 2–49 with no medical contraindications. For more information on the flu shot or flu mist see the information sheets attached in this article.

The Bethel VNA will submit claims to the following insurance companies: Aetna, Aetna Medicare, Anthem BC/BS, Connecticare, Connecticare Medicare, HealthNet Medicare, Medicare Part B, Oxford and Wellcare Medicare.

Thos seeking vaccinations should waer loose clothing or short sleeves and bring their insurance cards. Printable consent forms for the flu shot and flu mist are also available within this article and can be filled out prior to a clinic to save time.
