Sarah Benson the daughter of Diana Benson of Bethel was among 98 student-athletes inducted into The Skidmore College Athletics Department's Thoroughbred Honor Society in a Feb. 7 ceremony on campus.

The Bethel Winter Guard Association and Musical Arts Conference are holding a Winter Guard and Percussion Show at Bethel High School (CT). Color Guards and Percussion groups are coming from all over the area to compete in the MAC Competition. Save the Date!!!  Saturday, February 25, 2012
 3:00pm until 8:30pm

Eye on Bethel, February 15 & February 16   Lisa Wilson-Foley, candidate for the House of Representative, 5th District seat will be the featured guest on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:30 pm and on Thursday, February 16th at 11:30 am on Comcast Community Access, Channel 23.  The show is hosted by Paul Szatkowski and is sponsored by the Bethel Republican Town Committee. Lisa Wilson-Foley will be discussing her candidacy for the Congressional seat.

Bethel Today, a local cable television show hosted by Dave Olson and sponsored by the Bethel Democratic Town Committee, will feature as its guest, Richard Straiton, Selectman of the Town of Bethel.  Mr. Straiton discusses and answers questions concerning  some of the Town’s activities and plans including the road plan, the pending open space purchase of the Franc property, and, upcoming plans for the Teen Center to name a few.  The show will be broadcast on Tuesday, February 14 at 8:00 PM; and, on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM on Comcast Community Access, Channel 23.
