Woman Arrested for June Big Y Larceny

Arrest occurred Wednesday just before 5 p.m.

Aimee Ottaviano was arrested by the Bethel Police Wednesday at 4:50 p.m. after being located by the Newtown Police.

The Bethel Police was holding a warrant for Ottaviano "stemming from a larceny case that took place at the Big Y Market back in June of this year." She was charged with sixth degree larceny.

Ottaviano was also charged with assault in the third degree, disorderly conduct and failure to appear in the second degree after the Bethel Police served her a warrant based out of Southbury.

She was held on a total of $45,250 in bonds and will be arraigned in court on Thursday.
