The suspect certainly didn't fit the bill of Spider-Man on Tuesday afternoon.

The 31-year-old man was spotted by a Greenwich resident scaling an exterior wall of the home and trying to enter through a second-story door, according to a Greenwich Police report.

When police arrived about 4:30 p.m. July 22, they found Evan B. McManus of Bethel had jumped from the balcony and was sitting on outdoor furniture in the backyard, according to police.

McManus was charged with criminal attempt at second-degree burglary, disorderly conduct and simple trespass. He was unable to post $75,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned July 23 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
