Police Blotter: Straighten Up and Drive Right

The Bethel Police Department has provided this information. A person charged with a crime is not guilty until having been convicted.

 

 

On January 23, Margaret Parylak, age 25, 109 Housatonic Avenue, New Milford was charged with failure to drive in proper lane. At 10:47 p.m., Officer Burns responded to a one car accident on Rt 6 near Sand Hill Road where he found Parylak had struck a utility pole. She was found in her car on the shoulder of eastbound Rt 6. Parylak took and failed a sobriety test. She was released after posting at $500 cash bond. Her court date is January 30, at the Danbury Superior Court.
