Police Blotter: Reckless Endangerment

This information was provided by the Bethel Police Department. Persons are not guilty until charged in a court of law.

 

On Saturday night, April 28, an argument spun out of control when Vincent Gaita, 45, Dodgington Road, Bethel, threatened his girlfriend with a loaded .357 Magnum.

Responding officers seized the weapon, and charged Gaita with reckless endangerment and threatening in the second degree.

Gaita was arrested and routinely processed. He was held overnight on a $25,000 surety Bond. Gaita is scheduled to answer to the charges on April 30, 2012 at Danbury Superior Court.
