Police Blotter: Double Trouble, DUI

The information was provided by Bethel Police Departments. Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of what police allege.

 

On August 11, Stephen Radcliffe, 32, Hoyts Hill, Bethel, nearly struck a police cruiser while driving north on Old Hawleyville Road.  Radcliffe was stopped and given a field sobriety test, and was found to be driving Under the Influence of alcohol. He was released on a $100 bond and will appear in Danbury Superior Court on August 23.

An off duty  police officer saw Fredy Fajardo Curillo, 25, Danbury, drinking a bottle of beer while driving on Greenwood Ave. The off duty officer followed Curillo until a marked police car arrived, which then stopped Curillo and conducted a sobriety test. Having failed the test, Curillo was charged with Driving Under the Influence of alcohol. Curillo was released on a $500 bond will appear in Danbury Superior Court on August 17.
