Police Arrest Driver for Marijuana Possession

According to reports, Bethel Police observed Michael Chatman, 19 of Main Street in Danbury, "making an improper turning maneuver" on Durant Avenue on Thursday just after 10 a.m. A routine car stop was performed and when police made contact with Chatman, small bags of marijuana were seen inside the vehicle.

Chatman was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and making an improper turn. He was released on a written promise to appear and is due in State Superior Court in Danbury on June 21.
