Police Arrest Bethel Man for Possession of Child Pornography

The arrest occurred Wednesday and the subject is due in court next week.

Mikel Gradia, 29 of Henry Street in Bethel, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for possession of child pornography in the first degree.

According to the police report, the arrest was the result of an investigation that led police to Gradia's residence where "child pornography was found on his home computer." After searching his computers, police found that he had in excess of 50 depictions of child pornography.

Gradia was released on $10,000 court set bond and is scheduled to appear at State Superior Court in Danbury on Friday, July 11 at 1o a.m.

The arresting officer in this case was Detective George J. Bryce, Jr.
