Owner, Bartender of Empire Szechuan Restaurant Arrested for Serving Alcohol to Minors
Arrest occurs Thursday.
According to the Bethel Police Department, owner/permittee of the Ah Chen Siew, 46 of Southbury, and its bartender Antonio DosSantos, 48 of Wolcott, were arrested Thursday, both charged with delivery of alcohol to a minor.
After an investigation, Bethel detectives "discovered several underage individuals being served and consuming alcoholic beverages in the lounge" of the restaurant, which is located at 83 Stony Hill Road.
Siew and DosSantos were released after posting $1,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court on March 1. The underage drinkers were also issued administrative warnings.
