As if the roads weren’t dangerous enough with distracted drivers and pot holes. In West Haven, police have been investigating vandalism incidents, according to the New Haven Register. The suspects – who are still at large – have reportedly been tossing rocks at passing cars.

When a Stratford man's dog and a neighbor's canine began to tussle, the 32-year-old reportedly into his own lawn, police said. That was right after he threatened to shoot his neighbor's dog and right before he was arrested on four separate charges, including unlawful discharge of a firearm, according to police.

An apparent date at a Stratford motel turned sour for a Bridgeport woman when she was found in after the man she was sharing a room with flagged down a cop in patrol of the area, according to a police report.

A Bridgeport cab driver agreed to give a Naugatuck man a ride home for $70. The Naugatuck man only had $20, but told the cab driver he could get the other $50 when he got back to Naugatuck. Both parties have their own version of events, but one thing is apprently clear: once they got to Naugatuck, the cab driver because the rider allegedly stiffed him on the remaining $50.
