Man Arrested After Failed Tail Light, Then DUI

Incident occurred early Sunday morning.

At 1:17 a.m. on Sunday, Harry Faroux, 23 of Shelton, was pulled over after the Bethel Police observed him traveling on Grassy Plain Street with only one operating rear tail light. After being pulled over on Reservoir Street, officers suspected Faroux was also operating under the influence, to which he subsequently failed a field sobriety test. 

According to the police, Faroux was arrested for operating under the influence, operating with a suspended license, operating without proper tail lights and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was later released on $100 bond and has a court date of March 14 at State Superior Court in Danbury.
