DUI Arrest Made on Grassy Plain Street Saturday

Driver was pulled over after failing to stop for a red light.

At approximately 2:54 a.m. Saturday, the Bethel Police observed driver Justin Reynolds, 27, of Wilton Road in Ridgefield, "traveling on Greenwood Avenue and failing to stop for a red light."

According to the police report, the officers conducted a traffic stop on Reyonlds' vehicle on Grassy Plain Street and suspected he was driving under the influence. Reynolds failed a standardized field sobriety test and was placed under arrest.

Reynolds was charged with operating under the influence and failure to obey a stop sign and was released on $100 bond. He has a court date of Nov. 3 at State Superior Court in Danbury.
