DUI Arrest Made in Stony Hill Area Sunday Night
The arrest was made at 5:48 p.m. yesterday.
Newtown man Steven Jarvis, of Farrell Road, was arrested Sunday night in the Stony Hill/Old Hawleyville Road area of Bethel.
After being pulled over, Jarvis was deemed unfit to drive after he was "unable to pass Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and, as a result, was placed under arrest for operating under the influence."
Javis was charged with the DUI and one count of unsafe passing. He was routinely processed, was released on $100 bond and is due in court on Thursday, Dec. 22.
