Dec. 13: Bethel Woman Arrested for DUI, Three Additional Driving Related Charges

Woman arrested after failing sobriety tests.

Around 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, Bethel Police Officers were sent to the Greenwood Avenue area after a report came in of a possible intoxicated driver. The driver was found traveling on P.T. Barnum Square, where she failed to signal a turn onto Main Street. While on Main Street, the vehicle crossed the center line and drove into oncoming traffic.

The operator Gina Sacrider, 50 of Greenwood Avenue, was pulled over and arrested for failing a sobriety test. Sacrider was charged for operating under the influence, operating under a suspended license, failure to signal a turn and failure to drive right on a hill. Sacrider was released on $100 bond and was given a court date of Dec. 23.
