Danbury Driver Arrested for DUI on Stony Hill

Arrest occurs just before 3 a.m. Saturday.

On Saturday at approximately 2:54 a.m., the Bethel Police observed driver Adrian Fernandez, 24 of Garry Knolls in Danbury, "traveling west on Stony Hill Road and pass another vehicle in a no passing zone." After conducting a routine traffic stop, police performed a standardized field sobriety test after suspecting Fernandez was driving under the influence.

Upon failing the test, Fernandez was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence and passing in a no passing zone. He was released on $100 bond and is due in State Superior Court in Danbury on June 27.
