Bethel Police: Risk of Injury Arrest Made

The following information was provided by the Bethel Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

Bethel police responding to calls about an intoxicated driver at the Shell Gas Station parking lot on Sept. 29, stopped Marc Lividini, 38, of Whippoorwill Road.

After their investigation, police charged Lividini with risk of injury to a minor, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of amphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Bethel Police said the complaints mentioned the driver had a small child in the car, who was later determined to be Lividini's three-year-old daughter.

Police observed that Lividini appeared to be intoxicated and was given field sobriety tests which he failed.  He was charged and transported to Bethel Police Headquarters.

Inside his car, police found narcotic paraphernalia with suspected narcotic residue as well as marijuana and other related paraphernalia.

Lividini was held on a $1,000 bond by Bethel Police but was released on a promise to appear by the Bail Commissioner’s Office of the State of CT.

Lividini is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on October 12.

"Bethel teachers are not only educating students, but when society lets kids down, it’sRead More teachers who step in to fill the gap." Explain to me how an average salary of $60,000 per year for working 183 days during that year and an EXTREMELY generous retirement package (compared to the 240 a year the rest of us have to work) considered "society letting them down"?
