Bethel Man Pleads Guilty to Larceny, Burglary
Casey Robert Prall took the deal Wednesday morning, pleading guilty to burglary and two counts of second degree larceny.
A Bethel man appeared in Danbury Superior Court Wednesday morning, pleading guilty to two counts of second degree larceny and one count each of evading responsibility and burglary.
Casey Robert Prall, 22, will be required to provide proof that he has completed an alcohol education program as part of his plea agreement. Attorney Jim Diamond said his client has already fulfilled this requirement.
The offenses occurred between July and October of 2009, and included Prall’s robbery of a victim outside of a Dutchess restaurant. Prall also pled guilty to a home invasion burglary offense.

Judge Susan Reynolds noted that Prall was believed to have entered the home on multiple occasions, stealing over $10,000 worth of jewelry and other valuable items and selling them to a local pawn shop.
With his plea agreement, a number of charges were dropped from Prall’s case, including two counts each of conspiracy to commit burglary and accessory to burglary, fourth degree larceny, and two counts of a failure to appear.
