Bethel Man Arrested After Threatening With 'Large Knife'

The arrest occurred on Sunday, Oct. 9.

Douglas Rodger, 30, of Juniper Road in Bethel, was arrested at his residence Sunday night at 10 p.m. "following a domestic disturbance in which he threatened his uncle with a large knife." According to the police report, the uncle was not injured during the incident.

The Bethel Police charged Rodger with threatening in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree and disorderly conduct. He was held at police headquarters on $5,000 bond and will be arraigned at State Superior Court in Danbury on Tuesday.
