Two Teens Arrested For Threats Against Danbury High School

On Monday, April 21, 2014, Danbury Police arrested two teens after they received a report of a threat of harm by an unknown male to a Danbury High School student and also the entire school.
During the police investigation, police said they found that a boy had made a threat, via a phone call, to harm a student and everyone at Danbury High School. There call was identified to be from a Danbury home. Police then identified the two juveniles who they believed made the call.
The two teens, age 16 and 17, were arrested and charged with first-degree threatening, second-degree threatening, conspiracy to commit first-degree threatening and conspiracy to commit second-degree threatening.
On Monday morning the teens were taken to Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center.
Police said that although both teens said it was only a prank, the Danbury Police have zero tolerance towards threats to schools.
Names have not been released because they are juveniles.
