Grab & Go Kid's Planner: Spaghetti, Karaoke and a Day Full of Fun

Family and children's events in and around Bethel.

1. 
Where/When: Bethel Public Library, Thursday, 4:30-6 p.m.
Why Go: With the help of a volunteer from the Embroiderer's Guild of America, Fairfield County Chapter, children ages 3 to 5 will be taught the basics of cross stitch embroidery. They will make a small sampler to put in a card or frame to take home. Children must be able to attend this session and the class to be held on May 12.

2. 
Where/When: , 95 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, Friday, 6-8 p.m.
Why Go: Join Bethel's Boy Scout Troop 71, for an All-You-Can Eat Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner with salad, rolls and dessert.
Pricing: $8 per person or $30 per family 

3. 
Where/When: 7 P.T. Barnum Square, Bethel, Friday, 6-8 p.m.
Why Go: Go to a fun night of free Karaoke at Cupcakes & Milkshakes. There will be hundreds of classic and current rock and pop songs to choose from.
Pricing: Free to sing, prices for cupcakes/milkshakes vary

4. 
Where/When: , 80 E. Ridge Road, Ridgefield, Saturday, 1-4 p.m.
Why Go: This will be a fun-filled day for kids and the family. There will be a tent outside of the Playhouse and will include fun activities for kids from face painting by Enchanted Garden, to touch a truck with the Ridgefield Volunteer Firemen, hot dogs, hamburgers & ice cream from J&E Ice Cream. and more. The band "2 & 1" will play and Johnny Peers and his amazing mutts include 15 dogs that have been rescued as he demonstates all the tricks he's taught them.
